Altadena Distribution

On Thursday, David & Reuben reported to Calvary Chapel Monrovia, a main distribution center to receive their marching orders. They were then sent out to Altadena, California, which has much wreckage from the fires, to be in charge of a food tent. First responders, volunteers, as well as survivors come to these tents for meals, water, to talk, and to pray. In the beginning of all of this, these tents were open 24/7 to meet needs, but as the progress has moved along, the hours are changing to meet needs.

Part of their duty is to be on night watch. Unfortunately, some people have tried robbing these food tents in the night, so two cars sit on either end of the tent with their lights on to prevent this from happening. Day 1 in the tent, David & Reuben were able to listen to people's stories and encourage them as Jesus gave them words.

Prayer Requests: Richard- To remain strong for those around him, to fight the good fight of faith for his community.

Rose- She's been abused but know her guardian angel watches over her.

Tyrone Owens- His rent comes up in 2 weeks at his airbnb. Do not fear when his lease ends, live by faith--Jesus has got his back.

The disaster area they are serving at in Altadena, CA.

Tyrone Owens' house that is destroyed all the way to the basement.

Night Guard Duty in the rental car. The crew will be up as early as 5am to serve chorizo breakfast burritos.
